***Amnesia Platinum after the trimming***

Hola Stoners!

The Amnesia Platinum has been taken down and finally harvested yesterday. It had wonderful fat buds on top and this made me über happy on its growth because I didn´t expect that this strain is so easy to maintain during its veg period and its flowering stage. If I would have to choose a clone from the Grow Shop, then I would get this strain once again. It´s a strain that is robust and did not have any problem except for catterpillars here and there during the flowering stage. But, this can be controlled if the buds are always checked constantly.

Because it´s been getting chilly since a week, I didn´t want to take the risk…so, I took it inside the house to be on the safe side. After the flushing, it was time to harvest. As you can see, the top most cola is almost reaching the ceiling of the house. It was amazing how it grew more than 2 meters high in such a spartan condition, I understimated the pot I bought below.

Here, the colas are so densed and full of trichomes… I discovered a catterpillar that turned into color green, perhaps it´s grown and fed itself from the weed, seems they are fond of cannabis. I wonder whether they ever get groggy or high after consuming the buds with the pistils.

In the trimming process , I cut the stems one by one and used another container with soil to stick each branch into it so I could trim it properly in sitting position so as not to ruin my back.

Now that the trimming is done, I am bringing the trimmed buds into the cellar for drying by hangng them near the window. Am crossing my fingers it would be a potent strain.... I´ll keep you updated.
